For our inside sales department, we are looking for a medior sales engineer screw pumps with a strong technical base, who wants to delve into project-specific screw pumps for sewage treatment plants and industrial applications, worldwide.
Our jacks are not standard products. Each jack is customer- and project-specific, where you make early technical choices based on customer data, process conditions and scope.
You will work with sales, agents, EPCs, contractors and end customers and be responsible for the technical content and cost of bids and tenders.

What will you do?
- Interpreting customer data (flow rate, head, medium, set-up, environment)
- Technical selection and configuration of project-specific screw pumps
- Making technical choices in the preliminary stage (dimensions, execution, preconditions)
- Preparation of technically sound quotations and cost calculations
- Analysing tenders and customer specifications
- Signalling and making technical and project risks explicit to sales
- Coordinating with internal departments on manufacturability and feasibility
- Establishing technical assumptions and assumptions for project handover
- You work from inside the office. You monitor the technical scope and cost; the seller is responsible for margin and selling price.
What do we ask?
- A completed HBO training in a technical field.
- Several years of experience in a technical, project-based environment (e.g. Sales Engineering, work preparation, engineering or estimation).
- Affinity with mechanical systems, stainless steel constructions and customisation.
- Analytically strong: you can interpret customer data and translate it into technical choices.
- You dare to name risks and assumptions towards sales.
- Good command of Dutch and English.
- International context and working with agents you see as a plus.

- Independently perform jack selections and configurations.
- Prepare and substantiate technically correct quotations.
- Tenders and tenders up to ± €5 million technical wear.
- Clearly communicate technical risks to sales.
- Prepare project handover with clear principles.
