As Service & After-Sales Assistant You will be the main point of contact for customers, agents and partners worldwide. You will provide prompt, expert support in response to enquiries about our equipment, such as screw pumps, aerators, pumps and screens, and will handle requests ranging from spare parts to complete overhauls.
You will maintain close contact with international agents and act as their technical sparring partner. For the German market, you will be a familiar face to end customers and ensure a professional and consistent service experience.
On a daily basis, you will work alongside Engineering, Production, Fitters and Finance to ensure that enquiries, orders and projects run smoothly. You will report to the Head of Assembly, Service & After-Sales.

Your responsibilities
- Technical Support
- You are the technical point of contact for customers, agents and end users.
- You analyse faults and production problems by asking targeted questions and probing further where necessary.
- You actively contribute ideas to find solutions and help resolve issues remotely.
- You will support our international agents by providing technical expertise, documentation and advice.
- You will answer technical questions about, amongst other things, screw pumps, aerators, pumps and screens.
- Support for our agents
- You will act as a sounding board for our agents who represent our products.
- You’ll contribute ideas on technical challenges, customer enquiries and product applications.
- You identify areas where officers need extra support and, together with colleagues, develop documentation, procedures or solutions.
- You build long-term relationships and ensure that agents feel supported and well-informed.
- After-sales & quotations
- You will handle requests for spare parts, overhauls and service contracts.
- You advise customers and agents on parts, prices and technical options.
- You will liaise with Engineering, Production and Fitters regarding feasibility, planning and man-hour estimates.
- You draw up quotations — ranging from individual parts to complete overhaul projects.
- You process orders and contracts in ERP and CRM systems.
- Order support
- You will prepare purchase orders and ensure that parts are ordered in good time.
- You will monitor the progress of orders and agreements made with customers.
- You identify any discrepancies and take prompt action to prevent delays.
- You will be responsible for organising the schedule, safety documents and work planning.
- You keep customers and agents informed about order status and expectations.
- You will arrange work with subcontractors and organise transport.
- You provide information to Finance for invoicing purposes and, where necessary, carry out the invoicing yourself.
- You will be responsible for carrying out post-project cost analysis.
- Continuous improvement
- You analyse processes within the department and identify opportunities for improvement.
- You will put forward suggestions for improvement and help with their implementation.
- You identify opportunities to provide better support to agents and international clients.
Your profile
- MBO-4 level of working and thinking.
- Technical knowledge.
- Commercial skills and a customer-focused approach.
- An interest in technical products and processes within the (waste)water sector.
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
- A good command of Dutch, German and English.
